Working Against

« Back to Glossary Index

Working against is a plain language way to talk about contested interdependence – about a situation in which one or more parties acts to prevail over one or more others. To win so that another loses. Working against carries a negative moral implication which is not always warranted. See Contested Interdependence, Rights-based Approaches, and Power-based Approaches for more information.
