Navigation refers to the direction of travel you’ll take. To navigate on the earth is to shoot a bearing – a line with a number on it like 90o or 3:00 – between your current position and a desired future position. To navigate at work is to determine your direction of travel to get something done. It’s what you’ll do, the path you’ll follow, to complete a task, deliver a project, reach a team decision, repair a client relationship.
